Extra-Wide Walnut 434243
Pieces 1 and 2 from this set of STEAMED Walnut are a bookmatched pair. Piece 1 tapers away on the end, and has a length reduction back to 8'. Piece 2 has an open seam in the middle of the length which made the grain do a cool patter as it tried to heal. Piece 4 is the center cut with a seam and pith in the center of the slab. It could be used full width, or ripped into some great quartersawn Walnut.
